- Winter Fertilization (Nov-Dec):
Cool season lawns like Fescue receive a winter application of fertilizer to prepare the lawn for winter and encourage continued root growth in addition to maintaining a green appearance. - Crabgrass Prevention (Pre-emergent) & Fertilization (Jan-Mar):
This spring combo application is one of the most important of the season. The fertilizer feeds the grass at a key time and Crabgrass Prevention will create a barrier preventing summer weeds (like Crabgrass) from germinating and appearing in the summer months. - Winter & Spring Weed Treatments:
Cooler temperatures limit the effectiveness of weed treatments, so we closely monitor the weather and soil temperatures to time weed treatments to ensure the most optimal outcome for a healthy lawn.
